![]() ![]() Take off a generous amount for taxes and what not more. And I'd expect anyone to have bought these super expensive devices to be a little bit active on forums and such.ġ00 people, tops? 100*20=€2000. I see VERY FEW individuals coming on these forums specially for the HTC Vive, and the activity for Oculus also isn't immense. I am really questioning the size of the group of people that play ETS2/ATS and have VR. Though I doubt this will have any real meaning. I won't mind having to pay SCS to get proper VR support. The amount of people that have VR is very small. This might be an unpopular opinion, but for me personally I would be happy paying another $10-20 for fine-tuned VR support as DLC, if that means the developer can use that money to justify allocating developers to getting that support out in this early adopter phase rather than later this year or even next year. Is this a known issue? Is this supposed to happen? I can keep it smooth forever while stationary, but when I keep moving it apparently has to keep streaming stuff from disk and the frame rate stays low. I noticed this in VR too it was usually juddery but then occasionally smooth for a few glorious seconds. ![]() I've done some additional testing and it looks like what's happening is I'm getting very low frame rates (like 40-50 fps) while it is streaming something from disk, and then as soon as that is finished the frame rate rockets up into the hundreds. ![]() The solution is sacrificing graphical fidelity.Ĭurrently, my DK2 still launches and runs in VR so you should still be able to play Gnobiwan. It just can't keep it smooth in the cities for most all rigs. VR requires higher resolution (unless you are in 4k typically) and rendered at higher refresh rates. The game is just poorly optimized and heavily CPU dependant. Originally posted by SuperTuck:The game does run not so great in VR but much better with ATW. ![]()
